The Grandstand, Claudelands
History
The Grandstand at Claudelands is one of Hamilton's most loved historic buildings. Exquisitely restored, The Grandstand is now a delightful character function space within the picturesque setting of Claudelands Park. Built in 1878 in Cambridge for the Cambridge Jockey Club it was later purchased by the Hamilton Racing Club and relocated in 1887 to Claudelands. In 1926 it was again relocated to the site it stood until May 2008.
Now a fresh new look has transformed The Grandstand into a unique, stylish function space offering exclusive, top quality cuisine and specialist event and catering services.
The Grandstand provides an authentic heritage setting to enhance your function, where you can step back in time, enjoy innovative cuisine and interactive entertainment all against the stunning backdrop of Claudelands Park.
For casual users of Claudelands Park during weekends, The Grandstand will provide a kiosk serving daytime drinks and snacks.
